On a modern car it is not too good to just start the car cold and let it sit idling to warm up.
If the car have many miles and oxygen sensors start to get old, the extra fuel mixture when cold start can be enough to make the sensors stop working.
It might take several drive trips before the light goes out if the sensors did foul from the cold start.
The proper way is to start the car and drive away right away since the extra heat from the exhaust will keep the fouling to a minimum and also heat up the engine a lot quicker.
If the car has a lazy thermostat, that may also be a reason enough for why the light comes on if letting the car warm up only using idle.
You can either have a Saab shop read the fault codes and see where they point or drive for a couple of days and see if the light goes out (as long as you don't have any driveability problems) if so, you should get the codes read right away.
