Hi,
Well we did it - we are now the proud owners of a new 9-3 Combi (ice blue, 60th ann edition with sunroof and cold package). We have all of 75 miles on it. I have a couple of questions for the collective wisdom of saabnet.
1) Currently the 'key' remote unlocks only the drivers door with a single click - one needs to press twice to unlock the rest -- is it possible to reprogram this so a single press unlocks all?
2) Following on from this is there a list of customizable items like this published somewhere. I know what can be customized via the on-board computer, but wondered if there are dealer-alterable items as well (there were lots of these in our old SAAB).
3) I was surprised to see that the first service is set for 10k miles. I have historically been of the mind that new engines ought to have an oil change rather soon (500-1000 miles?). Is this not indicated for these newer engines or is it still a good idea?
Thanks,
Tom
