I just go ahead and peel off the bumper cover and pull out the headlight assembly. I can't fit my hand in there either. Most of the plastic pushbutton clips along the top of the radiator support will break if they are not broken already, then there are the 8mm head screws at the wheel well liner. The hard part will be the 10mm head bolt at the outboard bottom of the headlight. I have a swivel socket with an 18" extension. GM pays me 6 minutes to do this. That's why we call it Generous Motors! Don't get me wrong. I mostly like my job, but I do curse the designers and accountants and the lawyers et al daily.
