The V6 Aero has a complex vacuum system for brake boost. It includes an electric vacuum pump and pressure switch to provide vacuum just after startup and at low speed. The diagnostic instruction calls for pressing the pedal 5 times with the car off to bleed off stored vacuum. Then if the system is tight, the pump should pull it down and shut off within 10 seconds when the ignition is turned on. Further it should not run again for at least a minute. If your stored vacuum can be exhausted after one press of the pedal you may have a leak, or a problem with the pump or switch. As the are also 2 check valves, various connectors, a venturi with internal check valves, two connections to the intake manifold and one to the cam cover, there are a lot of places to look for problems! If you car won't pass the above test - get it back to the dealer. If it does, well...wait a few seconds before driving off?
