Please, mine was not near that bad, but did needed to be changed. I took the right windshield are off for two reasons, first it was easy, second I did not want to deform the plastic shiels. The little plastic rivit can be a fun job to get out if you don't know how they work. The rivits have a body that expanes when the center plug is inserted. Trick is to get the center plug out or to pop up. The way I did it was to take a small scribe and pry it up just enough to lift it. Be careful not to let it slip out of your hand, it is in a place that if you lose it forget it.
Now a different problem, maybe I should start a new thread, but here goes. My wife just loves driving the car, fairly new Lexus just sets in garage. The soft plastic coating over the hard plastic inside the car is just pealing off, look like s---. Does anyone know of a product that I can apply that will take care of this problem? I sure hope these cars do not go away.
