This is the info I was talking about, but it only says for cars up to 2005 so I'm not sure if it would fix your car. The info is from 2006 so I don't know if the 2007 have this same issue. I guess you can monitor the trunk switch in the BCM with tech2 and see if it says open with the trunk button is pushed and the trunk pops open.
Heres the info from SAAB

Date: June 14, 2006

Subject: Alarm sounds after opening trunk with

Models:
2003-2005 Saab 9-3 Sport Sedan

The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.

CONDITION/CONCERN:
Alarm sounds after opening trunk with RKE, trunk latch not changing states

RECOMMENDATION/INSTRUCTIONS:
While monitoring BCM data for trunk switch open trunk with RKE and watch to see if trunk switch change states. If the BCM does not see the trunk open switch change states after the trunk unlocks, it rearms the alarm after a few seconds. Advised tech to install 04 9-3 Sport Sedan Convertible trunk stoppers, they are spring loaded and will push the trunk up (2-3mm) to change the state of the trunk open switch. This has been reported to happen with deck lids with lip spoilers installed. Part number 12833991 (2 per car)
The concern is more prevalent on deck lids with lip spoilers installed or during cold ambients.

Please follow this diagnosis process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
