too cold?

Yesterday morning, I started my '07 2.0T and it made kind of a funny clunk when I took the emergency brake off. Then the dashboard lit up like a Christmas tree--all the ABS & traction control and brake lights came on along with 2 error messages also stating this in the SID. I drove anyway and then noticed that the odometer & speedometer were both inoperative. The brakes seemed to work fine although I didn't test the ABS for obvious reasons. It said it was 11 degrees when I started. On the return trip, everything was fine and functioned normally. Has anyone ever seen this before? Was it just too cold? I can't imagine that would be the case, since it is often pretty cold in Sweden. Is this something I should have looked at while still under warranty? Thanks!
