Granted, my 2003 9-3 only has 24K miles on it but none of my buttons are peeling in any way. In fact, basically nothing in my interior has any wear on it. My driver's floor mat doesn't even look bad at all and it still sheds the little fuzz balls like they do when new. I also cut a rubber dead pedal from a black floor mat to put on the carpet in that area when I originally leased the car. My skin oils are not very acidic at all. I have played guitar since '76 and I don't get the strings very dirty even with extended use. For some people guitar strings turn black very quickly due to skin oils. I do use hand lotion especially in the winter (northeast US) but I have never used Armor All in the interior. Nothing but the occasionally dusting with a microfiber cloth.
