Its the express up anti-pinch feature being triggered. You can recalibrate it by pulling the fuse or disconnecting the battery. Then roll the window up and down 2 times until you hear a beep (from SID).
There is also a software update for the door modules to reduce the sensitivity of the anti-pinch.
Also in an emergency, to get the window up just hold the window lock button down on the drivers window switch, and when holding down the window lock button you can close the window normally with the window switch. This also works for the express close on the sunroof if the sunroof kicks back.
