An easier fix for when the remote loses the rolling code is to open the car with the metal key blade, place the remote(key) into the ignition and turn on, then press a remote button. That will resync the remote to the car.
Also on early sport sedans (I think 2003-2004) There may be some software updates for CIM to fix remote problems
Note: a remote battery that is getting weak (not weak enough to give sid message) can cause this problem. Also pressing any remote button too many times out of range can cause this problem
