I have this problem also ... but there is no trim piece that runs along the headliner at the rear above the back windshield ... should there be something there?
That is my main question ... should there be some supportive trim running along the back of teh headliner just in fornt of the rear windshield/window?
My rear headline clip holds firm but the headliner is think, stiff and bulky and so stands proud of the roof of the car. This puts pressure on the 3rd brake light trim.
The 3rd brake light trim has clips that seem weak and somewhat deformed ... so they don't hold on one side.
Net result is at night in reverse if I brake I see only red light reflecting off the inside of the back window ... very hard to take your foot back off that brake pedal when you cannot see ... what to do about that trim piece?
