I see it all the time on customers cars. It's caused by the front trim sliding forward. I'm able to slide the trim back. It's not easy because you can't get a good grip on it. First open both doors. I then spay between the trim and body with window cleaner to help it slide then using the palms of my hands, I push/slide the trim back. you may need an extra set of hands pushing becuase they are hard to move.
