Just wanted to post this for future searchers. I had experienced both codes P0442 and P0455 along with a CEL since I bought my '04 Aero Convertible in April. I also was getting a pretty strong fuel smell immediately after refueling. I started by replacing the gas cap since I had the old style (replaced for free under warranty) and that didn't help. Today, the dealer smoked it and found that the fuel pump seal had split and was leaking vapors and, potentially, fuel as well if the tank was filled to the top.

The fix was to replace the fuel pump seal, part # 22-672-293, which required dropping the exhaust and the tank. Total cost for the job was $530.

No wonder the selling dealer was so intent on filling the car up with gas before I took delivery!! Hope this helps someone out in the future!
