I'm going to do some audio work on my convertible this spring, but I haven't decided if I'm going to have a shop do it or if I'm going to do it myself. I did the whole system in the 9k myself(all 8 speakers, headunit, sub), but I'm a little more nervous with my 9-3.

I'm planning on 3 new dash speakers (going to keep the middle one because it will help when the top is down), maybe 2 new tweeters in the rear and a sub. I'm going to leave the door speakers alone for now. My 'vert has 2 6X9s buried in the rear seat back that act as subs but still has the cutout for the 10" sub that was used in the 2007+ 'verts. I'm planning on disconnecting the 2 6X9s and using a LOC to hook up a 10" sub in the cutout, and will add an amp somewhere in the trunk that will be powered directly by the battery.
