You will want to post this message on the correct BB to get more responses.

When I had an '01 convertible myself, I had an issue with the top not latching down tightly enough, too. I wasn't getting a whistle, but I was getting gallons of rain instead. My dealer recalibrated the top with the Tech 2 and that helped a LOT. The top would stop a bit higher up off the header (whereas previously it would smack the header) which allowed the latches to clamp it down tighter. This calibration was down about 3 years ago, and it's still good (sold it to my uncle).

Good luck. Never could get my top to stop leaking on the sides and a Saab indy and dealer could never figure it out, so I ditched that car when the clutch blew a spring.
