TCS/ESP light with codes, what to do now... Posted by MikeinVT [Email] (#135) [Profile/Gallery] (more from MikeinVT) on Sat, 7 Apr 2012 11:52:34 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
The car in question is my dad's '04 V6 vert with AT. The TCS/ESP light has been on since last fall before storage this winter. I pulled the codes and here's what I got:
U2106-00 - Control module is getting no signal from TCM.
U2142-00 - Yaw angle sensor missing on bus.
The WIS diagnostic tells you to move the wiring harness and check for shorts. I'll start there but, I thought I'd check to see if anyone else has had this problem.
Car is originally from the south and not driven during the winter so corrosion is low on my list of suspects.
Any thoughts are appreciated, thanks.
Mike
