Dont deal with this failure much here in rust free Florida, however a lot of that letter does not apply anymore.

The SCNA phone number is disconnected. No one there to help you or process any claims etc. The dated letter Feb 2010 mean it was written after GM sold Saab to Spyker, so I highly doubt GM will stand behind it. This is how 2010 and 2011 MY vehicles got dumped without any warranty. GM is still upholding their previous obligations when they owned Saab such as powertrain warranties. Had a client last month take their '07 9-3 Aero to an old Saab/GM dealer to have a cylinder head replaced from a melted/burned valve (total loss of compression in cylinder; 3rd ive seen on the B284).

Lastly, the springs are not in stock anywhere in the USA. Can have them flown in from the UK, which is lately has been the best parts solution.
