I had the same willies but eventually used the tool.... I used the PowerBleeder on my 2000 9-5, I haven't used it yet on the wife's 9-3SC or my newer 9-5.
The only caveat is the hose will twist horribly when tightening the cap to the brake fluid resevoir. Take your time and spin the pressure tank when needed to keep the hose from kinking.
Use a Turkey Baster to extract most of the fluid form the resevoir. Fill to max level with new fluid. Pour one quart of new fluid in the PowerBleeder and pressurize to 10 psi.
Crack each bleeder fitting individually and run out the old fluid until the new clear fluid appears. Rotate corners of the car as specified by Saab for bleeding. Keep an eye on the fluid level in the pressure bottle but 1 qt there should be plenty.
When all done slowly release pressure in the bottle, remove the cap and fight the hose kinking once more, adjust fluid level for final time after PowerBleeder is removed.
If this tool had a swivel in the hose it would be perfect!
