2007 9-3 V6 Aero - The Check Engine Light (CEL) has come one a few times for short periods (24 hours) and then gone off. Earlier this week it came on & I was able to get it to the dealer to be checked. This summer the same thing occurred & the fuel pressure sensor was found to be bad so it was replaced. This time the code was the same, but the fuel pressure showed to be fine. The service manager offered that he has seen this same issue on at least 3 other cars & the problem is that the ECU program is too sensitive such that any minor flucuation in fuel pressure sends the error code. He added that GM is working on a re-programming of the ECU so that the sensitivity is reduced & false errors won't be detected. There is no change in the drivability of the car. Has anyone else had this same experience? What solutions have been successful? Thank you for the comments & suggestions.
