Adding jut a few psi is not enough. Trigger low point seems to be around 30 psi. My 08 just did that 2 days ago : 3 wheels were at 32 while the one shown on the SID was at 30 psi. You may need to reacjh the correct pressure to erase the warning. That is 36 on my XWD. I did that and the message was gone at the next restart.

BTW, my car is from 08/08, and the summer wheels I bought were from 2007. Both sets have 4 functionnal TPMS as of today. I doubt your sensors are already dead, unless you have a lot of miles and keep your wheels year round... Even then, they should last around 5 years...

Don't buy new sensors until you are sure they are bad...
