Yes that is true alot of things were hidden or they removed them. I remember there was one for modifying battery boxes on early sport sedans to fit the battery which I couldn't find last time I went to show a customer but I did find the old paper copy to show them.
So back to the point in 2005 on the vin suspension plate locations 1 and 5 were swapped most of the time. Also in 2007 there was one code for front springs that was a number off. Hope this helps you out some day. Good Luck,
