I've owned my '06 9-3SC 2.0T 5-m/t since new and its been a great car. I've got 116k miles on it and its been problem free for the most part. I had to replace one rear brake caliper (sticking), the water pump at around 100k, one power-seat motor and that's about all I can think of.
What I like most about the car is the powertrain; very respectable performance with decent fuel economy. The 5-speed manual is as smooth shifting as any and the brakes are excellent. The versatility of the combi makes it a great cargo and people hauler. And there are so few combis on the road it's a very exclusive car for the money.
What I dislike the most is the quality (or lack thereof) of the interior materials; the leather, the rubbery coating on the door pulls and dash pieces just do not hold up well. And I could do without all the rattles from numerous interior trim pieces.
All in all I have no regrets except that I paid too much just because I had to have one as soon as they were available.
