Aero V-6 Serpentine Belt - to do or not to do?

this is an 06 Aero Sports Sedan with 83K on the clock.

Original serpentine belt.

Saab maint. manual states to change at 60K service. Saab dealer here in CT did not do this and is still not recommending that it needs it even at 83K.

There seems to be some conflicting info on whether this should be done or not at 60K.

Would love to hear what some of the experienced Saab techs or owners of this Aero v6 engine think. What is the highest miles seen on an original belt?

Any broken belts seen? How catastrophic is it if a belt were to fail?
