Windshield washer check valve - repair or replace?

While washing my windshield I noticed the passenger washer wasn't spraying (it worked fine the other day). Upon investigating under the hood, I found some fluid dripping, and these parts fell out when I pulled back the insulation.
It looks like I could just put this back together (the rubber disc was sitting on the black plastic piece opposite the spring) and the cap looks like it's the last piece - but will it hold? There's no apparent blockage - I stuck a thin wire into the washer nozzle and didn't encounter anything.
I'm certainly not opposed to shelling out the $10 for a new one, but it sure would be nice if I can just put this one back together.
Thanks!
