I see batteries in 9-3 and 9-5 as maintenance items and replace them every 2-3 yrs, especially if I have a long road trip planned. With SOC'19 presumably in CO next yr, I'll look into a new battery for my 9-3X next summer. The "old" battery gets put on a Battery Tender and eventually finds a new life in one of the other SAABs....
