Soft top hydraulic line splice?

Hello Everyone:
So for a while now I've had a nasty leak in the passenger hydraulic line on my 04 Aero Vert. The cost for the dealer to put in a fancy new hose is 8 or 9 hundred for everything which is fine. But it pains me because the leak is in the bend. I'm aware the lines come as a 3 part deal with electrical included but I was wondering if anyone has been able to splice the line. I can manual close the top and see the leak right at the bend so getting to out assembled is easy. Thoughts?
