My 2005 had the same problem a few years ago. Progressive loss of light output. I goofed around refinishing the exterior which does not help at all, as the internal optics seems to degrade.
On the advice of others on here I did not get tempted to try the knockoffs and went with OEM. I think almost $300 each. This does come with lamps and new bulb connectors which on the 2005 at least seem to get burned up too.
I did have to drop the front bumper to install them but it was amazingly easy, so I would not get put off by that.
The tricky part was aiming them. To finally do this successfully I used the WIS method of measuring parked back from a wall.
