Hi Anders, Thank you for the terrific image of the lockdown blocks. I referenced similar but smaller images online as a visual guide for positioning the #1 cylinder camshaft lobes. Notice the inside facet leading to the highpoint of the lobe is nearly vertical. I layed a 10 inch wooden straightedge on the flat inner face of the lobe to read the position more accurately. I believe the positions are correct and will run the car for a stretch as is, being mindful to monitor the engine's performance. Concerning the New Balance Chain and Sprocket positions, which started my predicament, the alignment as I recall was pretty straight forward. The new balance shaft sprockets and chain were clearly marked, although the crankshaft sprocket which was part of the kit was different from the original and not used. The diameter and number of teeth were the same, but the hub area is different. I believe it applied to GM ecotech engines, and did not match the original sprocket. Thanks again for that image. I may remove the valve cover someday and double check my cams, if and when time allows. Thanks for all your help, I know your time is valuable, Kevin
