OMG, still haven't gotten to correcting the P0089 issue, now showing a NEW P0193 CEL, too, on my 2008 9-3 Aero. Just in case, I replaced the fuel pressure sensor a couple weeks ago with a Bosch unit as a preemptive strike for the P0089 "Fuel Pressure Regulator-Performance Problem".
This did not fix the problem, so I visited the dealer last week and was told the car needs a new OEM fuel pump, to swap out with the new Spectra pump just installed at my indy two weeks ago.
P0193 is "Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit High Input". What are the likely causes?
Does it matter that I put a bottle of Techron in the tank yesterday?
Any point in cleaning the fuel rail, ie. AC Delco X666P?
Car runs great--you'd never know it's throwing codes!
