Just kidding, but the more we know, the more we realize that anything and everything can go wrong and the more we read on the internet, the more problems we find.
I have never done any oil studies so I would not be able to tell what and if any traces of coolant in the B207 engine oil is common or not.
There are two seals in the water pump and in a good and normal case scenario, the coolant will weep out through a hole and down on the ground. It would be a pretty bad failure if both seals would fail and push coolant into the timing chain area.
So that's what Saab means with that text, a small amount of coolant is allowed to weep pass the first seal and onto the ground without being a problem of the water pump. The other seal is lubricated from the timing chain side
Don't know if you know or remember but the old B engine up to 81 had a similar setup with two seals and it was possible but rare that coolant entered the oil pan.
I would more suspect a weep in the water pump, coolant expansion tank, radiator, heater hose connections or any other place before thinking coolant makes it into the oil pan.
