COIL pack / Engine shudder at High RPM questions??
Posted by Chris Cunningham [Email] (more from Chris Cunningham) on Sat, 24 Aug 2019 07:29:36
Long time SAAB owner for 30 years. From Classic 1984 900 to SPG to NG 9-3 to 9-5 and now proud NEW owner of 9-3 2.0T Sportcombi.
Anyway, 2008 Sportcombi with 103K. Experienced hard engine misfire (shudder) under load and hard acceleration. Other than that issue, NO issues. No CEL. Idles perfectly. Starts perfectly.
Should I just replace the coil packs and spark plugs?
Just bought the car and drove it 300 miles through mountains without incident except for issue noted above.
Thanks for any help. Chris.
