Its been a couple years since I’ve used the latch anchors but do recall there were only two positions in my sedan. Behind the driver and passenger seat only. The middle seat I had to use the belt. Not sure if the convertible has the same latch points so its just a guess that you might be trying to install the isofix in the center position since the back seat doesn’t have a lot of room for a rear facing seat.
It was nice getting some leg room back when we flipped the car seats around. I now have to deal with a 5 year old kicking the back of my seat.
