that is a good question... Since the connector is melted, that supposes a problem elsewhere. Repairing it would be quite difficult as the wiring must be quite frail now after all these years under the heat of the turbo. Do you know what wire is melted? This could indicate where lies the problem.
I took my Tech2 to the car earlier today, and looked at the values for the throttle pedal and throttle actuator.
Here are the values I see with the pedal to the floor (key on, engine off):
Pedal Position : 99,6 %
Pedal position sensor 1 : 3.65 V
Pedal position sensor 2 : 1.80 V
Throttle position sensor 0,59 V
Throttle position sensor 4,43 V
With pedal at rest, here are the values :
Pedal Position : 0 %
Pedal position sensor 1 : 0,98 V
Pedal position sensor 2 : 0,49 V
Throttle position sensor 0,59 V
Throttle position sensor 4,43 V
