There are vendors out there who can clone and/or mod your T8 ECU on a mail-in basis; look around online.
Alternately, if you want to take a crack at DIY-ing it, check out T8Suite (txsuite.org). You'll need a laptop, a $30 OBD dongle (OBDLink SX, available at Amazon), and a battery charger connected to your car's battery.
To clone your stock tuning files, use the "Trionic CAN Flasher" program that's part of T8Suite to download your stock ECU files to your laptop. Then, power off the car, disconnect the computer and replace the ECU. Next, re-connect your laptop, and using the same program, upload your stock ECU program to the replacement ECU.
There is a bit of a learning curve for it, as there's a ton of capabilities built into the software package (new stock tunes can be created, edit your own, etc.), but it has saved a few 9-3s that have come through here.
