2008 9-3 2.0T won't start Posted by BadgerBuddha [Email] (#2199) [Profile/Gallery] (more from BadgerBuddha) on Sat, 3 Jul 2021 08:58:08 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I'm going to copy the test I posted to a facebook group I am in:
I had stalling issues on my 2008 9-3 2.0T, so I got a aftermarket CPS and it would not start. Got a Bosch CPS and replaced it on my car (what a struggle). Went to start the car and it would not turn over, and was giving p0337, p0700, and p0725.
So I disconnected the battery, disconnected the ECU, spent a few minutes reading something, then reconnected the ECU and Battery. Car still won't start and but is now only giving p0725. Tacho will go up to 100 RPM when starting, but car doesn't kick in. Getting enough power to run the blower motor and stereo, and a recent trip to the auto parts store gave a good reading on the battery at 12.5V.
Is there a chance of a broken wire somewhere? Or is there a chance the battery actually is the problem?
