So I bought a 2007 9-3 Combi 60th Anniversary last year and went deep into figuring out how to add Bluetooth to the original head unit - 6 disc, XM radio - not nav.

I figured that since it is a GM one there could be an inadvertent overlap with something offered for another GM car. So I bought CRUX BTGM-33 from Crutchfield for about $100, which should work, in theory.

Has anyone else had success with this? When I plug it in, I am not able to find XM which is what you need to set it up. When I unplug it XM comes back.

The car is low mileage and fabulous, I love it as it is, but it would make the rest of my family happier to have some sort of BT Handsfree feature... I'm happy with just the AM radio in my two-stroke, and that doesn't even work!

Any guidance or experience would be helpful before I put that pesky vent back in...
