Having this issue now myself. Got this info from Swedecar:
Not a super simple owner thing but.
Even though it is not as common on the NG9-3, I think I have disabled the alarm using the Tech2 and CANdi box together with my TIS2000 program for security access.
I think it is inside the BCM (body control module) and you go through the programming sequence and tell the car it does not have alarm.
But first the shop should check for the reason the alarm sets off. With the Tech 2 you can see the 10 last triggers for alarm. I suspect your car might have a door lock module that is starting to glitch. Either the lock motor is not properly locking the door all the time or that the micro switch is not telling the system, the door is closed.
Both of those items are housed in the same door lock module and I have replaced many of them through the years for all 4 doors.
