Hello All: I have a 2004 Arc. Twice in the last week when activating the left turn signal, the turn signal speaker and dash indicator went into double time. No warning msg on the SID, and visual inspection of all turn signals show them working (although it was not in double time mode then). Is this a sign the CIM is failing? Also, but I can't see how it relates, recently the engine idle has been rough a couple of times on warm restart.
Perhaps related,the steering lock would not unlock 8 months ago resulting in a tow. The wait for new parts was really long, so my indy tech had to resort to used parts to get me going again. I want to be proactive this time.
