Random Alarm, Door Lock Issues

I purchased a 2008 93 convertible about 3 days ago. The roof appears to be in good shape with no shrinkage, but water got on the interior of the driver and passenger doors during a heavy rain yesterday, so there's clearly an issue.
When I drove the car today, the driver door won't lock or unlock with the key or button, but will move manually. The alarm has also gone off randomly 3-4 times throughout the day. The driver's seat is no longer reclining but still moves forward and back. The passenger seat, which is manually operated, also will not recline.
Additionally, the check engine light turned on (CDS-II scanner is showing P0638, throttle body) and the car is now in limp mode.
I test drove the vehicle multiple times and tested all of the electrical components multiple times, so none of these issues existed just a few days ago. I assume the throttle body is a completely separate issue, but does it make sense that all of the electrical issues resulted from the water leaking through the roof? Will this be a relatively easy fix or have I caused significant damage? Finally, what is the best course of action for the roof -- as I said, there are no holes and no shrinking, but I have no checked the drains yet.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
