When I replaced our '06 9-3 clutch I got a quote of P+L of maybe $2400 for a Saab specialty indy to do a thorough job, that quote was from mid 2019. I got it done in Jan 2020 at a different Euro import indy mechanic who charged a much lower rate, and let me provide parts. I recall it was a full day's work, 8 hours labor. I replaced everything: clutch disc, pressure plate, flywheel, slave cylinder, hydraulic lines and fittings, master cylinder, rear main seal, etc. I think I spent $600 - 700 on parts all genuine Saab or OEM parts I shopped around for. I recall I saved well over $600 going this route. In 2025 you could likely pay under $2000 if you shop around and maybe reuse the fly wheel and slave cylinder and not replace everything, just the clutch disk. However, due the labor involved, you may want to replace more than just the clutch disk if you plan to keep the car for many years.
