2006 9-3 SC with 2.0T engine, purchased new.
Around 2010 I took the car to the local SAAB Dealer for some type of service. They notified me that one front spring was broken, they had none in stock and because of the Bankruptcy/Sale of SAAB they would not be able to obtain a new spring. Checks by thrm with tbe other Detroit area SAAB dealers revealed none available.

So I ordered two new springs from the UK, Lesjofors brand (the OEM supplier), delivered them to the Dealer and they were installed. SAAB/USA or GM reimbursed me for my out-of-pocket cost for the springs since this was a warranty repair and they were 'unable' to supply the necessary repair parts.

Now it is ~15 years later and it appears the front of the car is sitting too low. Has benn for a year or two. Are the springs sagging? Are both springs broken?

So my question:


Is there a known dimension, from ground to upper front wheel opening, that could be used to quickly determine if indeed the front is too low?
