Hey Rudy,
I have an aftermarket boost controller, but the computer is using the stock bypass control valve to control boost. Haven't gotten around to taking care of that yet, but the bypass valve makes a noticeable noise in my set-up (more pronounced with the itg). And the turbo whine is a little louder, too. I have not noticed an increased sound from the center vent, but keep in mind the bypass valve is just on the other side firewall, in line with the center vent. On the new 9-3's, the bypass valve is integrated into the turbo compressor housing, not on the intercooler-to-throttle tube, like on the T7 cars. Of course, it still gets one of it's signal feeds from there.
