From time to time Saab chooses to select a time frame to run an early out program. There are two running now.
"Spring Early Out" for all Saab Financial leases terminating from March 1 to June 30. SFSC forgives the reamaining payments up to three. There's is still a $350 disposition fee as you are returning the car to SFSC.
"2004 9-5 Sedan & Wagon Early Out Program" only for leases of 9-5's, not 9-3's, for those leases terminating between July 1 and August 31. Again SFSC forgives up to three payments, but doesn't waive the disposition fee.
Both programs have a 120 day rule whereby you are allowed to terminate your lease no sooner than 120 days before maturity. And early out programs won't forgive a payment that has become past due by even a day, no grace period in other words. If you have three payments left and the third furthest one is due July 1 and you get to the dealer July 2, that payment won't be forgiven, you will just get the remaining two.
The programs are not consistent or predictable, except that they are designed to spur sales so there is no predicting what will be availible for you for a December termination.
