two nights ago while driving home my car began hesitating during acceleration, it wouldn't go above 2000rpm until i got the gas pedal about 2/3 of the way down. i also noticed the "burnt plastic" smell that goes with di failure. now today i tried to start my car and i won't run. it cranks well and the engine starts but then sputters out rather quickly. i am pretty sure that it's the DI but i wanted to ask what you guys thought to make sure before i fork out 340 for a new one. also, is there anywhere where i can get them for cheap, i noticed eeuroparts is now 340 for the red DI that i need. thanks.
