I have a 2001 Viggen convert with 60K, so it is out of warranty. While looking at the dash, or the cover to the passenger airbag, I noticed that the crease in place to allow the airbag to release is cracking. I can see foam. It is about 6 inches long and starts at the left top side.

Has anyone else had this problem, and what was done? I'm out of warranty, but clearly this is not a wear item, so I'm wondering if they'll cover this, and what if any risks exist.
