Does anybody have any idea why the silly laws regarding fog lights were writen in the first place? If your fogs are on with the high beams the driver is going to blinded by the high beams (which we all turn down) not the fogs. I live in rural Maine where collisions with large animals (like a 1200 lbs moose) are a real problem. I would like to use my fogs w/ my high beams to illuminate the sides of the road so I can look out for animals, but I can't... What gives?
