Disconnect and remove the battery, clean with baking soda/water and bring the battery to a fully charged state. Store in dry place with some ventilation preferably not on concrete. A half charged battery will freeze at 32 degrees. But a fully charged one can go well below that withou freezing. I usually store mine in the garage that is attached to my house, it never usually gets below 45 in there. Check the battery every other month and re-charge if necessary.
As far as the car, I park the car in one of my garages on a plastic coated pad that won't let moisture from the concrete through to the underdside of the car. I then put a couple of sissor type jacks under it and raise it slightly. Just enough to take the pressure off the tires and springs, but not too much that makes the suspension hang.
Next, put many "BOUNCE dryer sheets in the trunk, under the seats, under the hood, etc., to keep away mice. I back that up with a couple of traps just in case. I really don't want any critters taking up residence in my ductwork or seats.
You should also fill the gas tank up with some gas stabilizer added. In the spring at your first fill-up add some injection cleaner or Techron additive.
In the spring, I re-install the battery, I pull the plugs and shoot a little oil in each cylinder to pre-lubricate. Then I fire it up.
It shouldn't mess up your SID.
Good luck!
