I don't see much resemblance, personally. 9-3SS is the best-looking car in its class right now. No Chevy or Saturn can come close. Maybe the Jag X-Type...but I have a soft spot for Jag styling :)

Chassis architecture is shared, which means that all the parts bolt together with the same hardware and are interchangeable. The chassis itself, made up of many different components, is unique to each vehicle. This allows variations in size and chassis tuning.

Engine block on the 9-3SS is shared with other GM cars, but all engine hardware and software is Saab-specific.

All sheetmetal, all interior pieces, and just about anything else you can think of is Saab. All the structure and safety features are Saab, which is why this is the first car ever to be named a best pick by the IIHS for both front and side-impact crashes.

The 9-3SS is more a Saab than any car since the C900. Go out and buy one, and enjoy it.
