First, Call the dealership and ask them to order key shaft for combo key.
it costs abotu 35 bucks and usually they got in 2 business day.
they find the key code thru the computer and order keyshaft. Warehouse in atlanta cuts it and overnight it to dealership.
Second, Buy used key/remote combo from E-bay.
(about 20bucks)
if you buy it from dealer, ic costs another 160 bucks for remote it self.
(Even it's combo key, it contains 3 different parts)
So, that's the cheapest way.
Third, As you recieve key from E-bay and dealer, ask dealer to program it with Tech-2.
(you must bring all the keys to dealership. you can program 4 sets of key and remote, however, combo key counts as 1 key+1 remote)
they usually do it free with other stuff, however they couldn't charge 0.3 hours of labor for this.
So, Worst case, you spend 35+160+21 (of you buy it from dealer)
or 35+25 (used key from e-bay+ new keyshaft)
Oh. one more thing. sometimes there is un-cut key on e-bay for cheap price.
Just Don't buy un-cut key. If you ask local locksmith to cut key they usually charge 50 bucks or more to cut it and still doesn't work.
If you could get laser cut key shaft guranteed to fit at 35 bucks, why bother?
