I've got around 1500 miles on mine and love it so far. I'm about to hit the 30-day checkup (Monday) and at this point I have only two issues to be looked at:
- there seems to be some sort of packing glue on the sunroof and every time I open the sunroof and then close it, it comes back with a smear of stuff across the outside of the sunroof. Someone told me that there is some padding on the roof that may be loose and the glue that holds it in place is getting on the sunroof but that it should be easy to fix.
- the passenger seat has a weight sensor that detects when a passenger is there so that it can light up the passenger's seat belt alert. Sometimes this comes on when there's no one in the seat, or if I have a light bag of groceries in it. I'm hoping that can be adjusted.

I think you'll find that some of the more common issues were probably in 2003's or the very early Linears with the lauch package (according to my dealer). As far has how your dealer will be about fixing problems that will vary from dealer to dealer. My dealer in Atlanta has two locations and so far (this is my 3rd SAAB) I've had good service. You should try to get some opinions of the particular dealer(s) near you.
